A Magical Birthday!

Really....the longer I take to write this, the shorter it gets!

We took the kids to Disneyland for their birthday and had a little party with Mickey and Minnie (not exactly how I had imagined, but no time to explain here).

We tried several times throughout the day to get a good shot of the kids together...didn't happen!  But these two make me laugh.  Could Timmy "CHEEEESE!" any harder?!

A little cuteness :)

Grandma Stacey came, as well as Tim's brother and sister and their families...and my niece, Brianna came, too.  It got a little hectic at times, but totally worth it....I love that my kids have little cousins to grow up with!

Some of us - this was before Uncle Mike and his family arrived...

All the little ones - minus Michael, Devin and Brianna...they're not so little anymore and they were too cool to hang out with us!

Eating at Goofy's Kitchen (the kids LOVED it)!

Favorite rides...
Timmy: "The faaaaassssst one!!!"  Notice the Matterhorn behind him...he LOVES it and is still talking about it!

Brianna and Emma on Emma's favorite..."the teacups!"

Kallie: "My favorite is Small World."
(I know, it looks like we've all had spray tans gone wrong - we are completely orange...but it's just bad lighting)

Here's a cuter one of Kallie to make up for it :)

On a quick side note...we've been to Disneyland quite a bit since last year and I couldn't love it anymore than I do at Christmas time.  Everything is decorated and lit up...

It's a Small World is one of my favorites this time of year....

The princess castle is UH-mazing!!! SO BEAUTIFUL!!!

And seriously, every time they make it "snow" and I see my kids reactions, I get a little teary...literally...I have to hold back tears because I feel ridiculous!  For lack of a less generic word used for Disneyland...it's just so magical!

Happy Birthday, babies!  I love you tons and tons and bunches and bunches!!!

Done!  Moving on!!!

'Tis the Season

Seriously....I REALLY DO intend to write about the kids' birthday party (although I don't know if I'd really call it that).  I was hoping to have something posted by now, but this is how we've spent the last week....
All of the kids have had colds and a horrible cough ('tis the season, I suppose), but Timmy had a fever that didn't seem to be going anywhere.  So after a long Saturday night, Tim took him into the ER yesterday and they think he had developed a sinus infection.  Nothing some antibiotics, pain reliever, and a little chicken soup couldn't take care of...he finally woke up fever free this morning!

Our camera is STILL in the shop, so I don't have many recent pictures, but here are some from a few weeks ago....the kids got these toys from their Auntie Michele and LOVE them!

Emma getting her baby (Brynn Stacey) ready to go for a walk...

Lambchop is ready and waiting...

And Timmy is off...

Having things to push made walks around the neighborhood so much easier!  The kids weren't as fast and couldn't get too far ahead.  I'll have to remember that for next year :)

TO DO

I'm a list person - TO DO today, TO DO tomorrow, TO DO this week, TO DO in general...TO DO this lifetime (you get the point)!  And I may have mentioned before how I like piles.  I organize everything into piles....and even when I try to get rid of them, they just get reorganized into new (and usually more) piles!  I can't get away from them and either can Tim.  He hates my lists and piles...he tells me that he could probably do everything on my lists in the time that I take to write them (I beg to differ ;) and last night he looked at our desk and told me he was afraid I was becoming Russell Crowe from that movie A Beautiful Mind....where he has posted papers with notes on them all over the room covering every inch of space, even the walls.  I'm NOT that bad!  And while I might not be schizophrenic or think I work for the CIA, I do love my lists...couldn't live with out them!  And up next....

...blogging the kids' birthday.  I'm hoping that posting this will force me to sit down and actually do it, rather than transferring 'Blog Birthday' to one of my new lists!

Thankful....

For trains and trucks, cars and everything boy.....for strollers with baby dolls in them and anything pink and girly....for toys that have completely taken over our house.....for what these things represent....I'm thankful for the sweet little boy and two crazy girls that have turned my world upside down and my heart inside out....and for all the ways in which they have changed my life.  Tim and I have gone from dancing in clubs to dancing in our living room with our three beautiful, and most importantly, healthy babies...all of us wearing different combinations of silly hats, princess dresses, handkerchiefs, feather boas and smiles from ear to ear...there are toys and dress-up clothes strewn around the room and laughter filling every corner of the house - that's what our morning looked like.  My house...my heart...and my life are full....and for that I am SO VERY thankful!

Our camera is in the shop right now so no pictures from today :(
This is an old one (and not a very good one at that) but I look at the people in it and love it anyway :)
Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Electric Smiles

(and hair :)

The kids thought their hair was SOOO funny!  They would stand at the bottom of the slide waiting for the other to come down and then burst into giggles once they saw each other!  They were all laughing uncontrollably....and I was, too.  Some days are rough...some moments suck...but the good TOTALLY outweighs the bad....and simple moments like these make me realize how lucky they are to have each other....and how lucky I am to have them!
