I guess crossing my fingers worked because the weather is absolutely SPOOKTACULAR today! No really, it's a perfect day! We've already been to a party and we can't wait to head out later for some good ole fashion trick-or-treating!
Hope everyone is having a safe and Happy Halloween!!!

My Little Pumpkins!
I don't mean to keep talking about the seasons, but I really think we've gone straight from Summer to Winter here. And between Tim's work schedule (he's been working a lot) and the rain's weather schedule (it's been working a lot, too) we have only made it to the pumpkin patch once! It's sad because I love this time of year and Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! Luckily Kami sent me a JibJab video (see last post) a few days ago and and it totally cheered me up! I've seen it before; a few of my friends have done them with their families and I thought they were hilarious, but it's SO much funnier with your own....I've watched it several times and I laugh EVERY time!
Also making me smile are these little guys. They had so much fun at the ONE pumpkin patch we made it to. I'm glad we got to go....and I'm still crossing my fingers for a dry Halloween!

Average Mornings
Grandma Stacey (or "Gram" as we've been calling her lately) took the kids last night, so I am all alone this morning....NOT the average morning. But while I am enjoying it to the fullest and trying to get as much as I can done (taking a little break for blogging, of course ;) I actually miss this......
One of our average mornings....

How do you like them APPLES?!
Fall is finally here! The weather is crazy this year...it was hot a few weeks ago and today it is literally pouring down rain as I type this. Somewhere in between, we had perfect weather and made it to Apple Hill. I have such fond memories of going to Apple Hill as a little girl and I love that Tim and I have made it a tradition to go every year with our kids :) What do I love so much about Apple Hill? Insert the word FRESH in front of every one of these - apple donuts, apple fritters, caramel apples, apple pies (ok I don't really like apple pie, but I like the way they smell), apple cider, apple flavored milkshakes (this last one sounds a little weird, but think apple cider milkshake or caramel apple milkshake)...need I say more???
Bill's Apples
Rainbow Orchards for...
THE BEST fresh apple cider donuts!
(Fresh like 'they don't fry them until you order them' fresh...and they are worth the wait)
And fresh apple cider :P
Picking apples at Pine O Mine
High Hill Ranch - one of our favorites...and everyone else's, too...it's always crowded!
The kids thought this duck was hilarious!
Ugh....I have had the worst time uploading to Blogger today! It's taken me WAY longer than it should have (seriously, I've been in here for hours) and there is one more pic that I wanted to post (one of my favorites from the day), but it won't upload no matter what I do! I would blame it on the computer, but Tim would just tell me "it can't be...we have an Apple." Pun intended...because he would actually call it a Mac, but you get where I was going with that.....anyway! I'm going to try one more time and then I'm giving up...for now.
Ok this isn't the version I wanted, but it will have to do!

Goodnight Sun
Enough with the beaches already, right?! This was most likely our last beach trip for the year so we soaked it all in. We enjoyed every last bit of sun and sand before it's gone and replaced with chilly air and crunchy auburn leaves. Which I can't wait for....but we sure will miss the beach! And I sure will miss these boys playing in the waves while I watch their silhouettes running and jumping across the sunset....until we all sit together on the beach and watch the sun go down and the kids say, "Goodnight sun." THIS is what I've been waiting for my whole life....for THESE MOMENTS...

The kids love these bath colors!
Cooling off in a cooler (yes, we filled it with water)!
IN the water table (hope this things doesn't have a maximum weight).
At one of our local parks
We can't get enough of the beach this year...
