I can't remember...

I don't know when it happened...

I can't remember the exact moment or even the day, but somehow my baby became a little boy.

It's happening to all the kids...they're growing up WAAAY too fast, and right before my eyes. But I've noticed it more with Timmy lately...maybe it's because he has always seemed the most baby-ish of the three kids and he's recently begun to exert his independence - I can't count how many times I hear the word NO in a 24hr. period. There are different variations...there's, "No no, Mommy!" and "No, Mommy, no!" and just the simple, yet very effective, "NnnnnO!!!" The last is accompanied by the sign for "no" and the cutest serious face I have ever seen! You see, Timmy used to be MINE..he always sat on my lap; he followed me around like my shadow; he used to say my name over and over and over....but now he's traded in his rattle for a train; he wants to buckle his own car seat and get out of the van by himself; he loves to tinker with things, is obsessed with electronics, and he knows how to use my iPhone better than I do (no, seriously...he can turn on, unlock, go through apps, play games and even start movies on my phone all by himself); he doesn't come running after me all the time (most of the time, it's Daddy he wants now), he doesn't fit on my lap the way he used to, and I can't hold him like a baby anymore, although I keep trying.

I don't know when it happened...

I can't remember the exact moment or even the day, but somehow my baby became a little boy.

The Sweetest Things...

Ok first of all, WHYYYYY do my kids have to poop right after I change them and put them down for naps?!!! NOT very sweet :/

But back to things that are.....like ice cream and pastries, jelly and jams, candies....and my kids :) There was a break in the rain today, even a little sun shining, so the first thing we did this morning was get dressed and head out (that sounded like it was early, but by the time I can get myself and 3 kids ready it was about 10:30). I didn't know where we were going; I just knew we were going SOMEWHERE! We ended up at a little local shop out in the valley that sells the above sweets and shared a homemade ice cream.

Emma offering me a bite of her ice cream.
Monkey see, monkey do! Kallie wants to share, too!
Timmy is not one for sharing his sweets...he likes them a little too much!

On the way home we stopped at Target. Ahhh, I love that place for SO MANY reasons...a couple of them being that it gets us out of the house and my kids love it. Maybe it's the "cocorn (popcorn) and icee." Yes, I admit it; my kids had ice cream, popcorn and an icee all in the same afternoon, but I promise it doesn't happen often!

And I know, I know.... this isn't safe.

Snow Days

Down to Disneyland and up to Tahoe all within one week! I don't think we'll be doing that again any time soon. We were TIRED when we got home, but it was so worth it! The kids LOVED the snow...they loved making snowballs, they loved throwing snow balls, they loved playing and rolling around in the snow and they loved eating it :) Definitely worth freezing our butts off to see them having so much fun!

M-I-C...K-E-Y......M-O-U-S-E!

Ok, I don't have a lot to say about Disneyland, except that it was a BLAST! I'm so glad that I didn't let thoughts of money, packing and driving stop me from going along with Tim's crazy (and very last minute) plan to go to Disneyland on his 3 day weekend. And I can't wait to go back again...but hopefully it won't be next month!

Never thought I'd like Disneyland so much as an adult, but I guess when you have kids, they really do change EVERYTHING!

Grandma Stacey came along with us....such a HUUUUGE help!!!

This isn't the best pic, but it pretty much sums up how I feel about our life sometimes...it's a little like a zoo, and I often feel stared at like caged animals!

Timmy LOVES "too-too tains" (choo-choo trains). Hands up.....weeeeeeee!

Love my boys :)

Me and Kallie....hands up going under the tunnel.

Meeting Tinkerbell (they love her)!

And she was SO cute with them. She even gave them some pixie dust...not enough to fly, just enough to last them forever :)

Seriously can't get enough of this little guy!

Kallie LOVED the Buzz Lightyear ride. She kept telling us she wanted to "shoot everybody."

Another day...another family shot!

Waving "Hi everybody!"

Emma - love her :)

Uhhh....Kallie's fake smile. She does this every time she sees the camera :/ Someday I guess I'll miss this smile (a smile only a mother could love).

Dumbo is a favorite! Me and Emma waiting for the ride to start.

Love this shot of Timmy! He sees Daddy taking his picture :)
The whole family in one teacup...and Grandma hopped in, too, after she took this pic!

In front of California Adventure

Emma (well, all the kids really, but Emma ESPECIALLY) is obsessed with Grandma - Grandma has to hold her; Grandma has to sit next to her; Grandma has to push her; etc. etc....This is the only way we got Grandma out of pushing the stroller...they HAD to hold hands!

Me and my BFF :) Kami lives in San Diego and came up to play with us for the day. This was taken right after we had dinner at the Blue Bayou. Loved the restaurant and the food was YUMMY, but I wouldn't suggest it with three cranky kids at the end of a long day :/

We spent one more day at Disneyland, but we left the camera back in the suitcase...on purpose (we NEVER do that), but it was actually nice to just play with our kids and fully enjoy the experience rather than worrying about getting a picture of everything. I love pictures and documenting memories, but sometimes, the best memories are the ones in your head!
